The past experience of Custom Designing & Engineering in restaurant MEP design includes prototype development, new construction stand-alone projects, and in-line remodels. Georgetown Cupcake - New York, NY

For the TLC celebrity gourmets, Custom Designing & Engineering designed the fit out of the 2,900 square foot bakery in Soho.  The design included the complete gut and remodel of the entire mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for the dining area with open kitchen, and toilet rooms on the first floor, with preparation kitchen, dishwashing, and storage in the cellar.  The design also included specification of the new kitchen exhaust and make up air equipment and grease interceptor.
 

Friendly's - Middletown, DE

Custom Designing & Engineering designed the complete reconstruction of the 3,930 square foot restaurant. The existing building was demolished and rebuilt from the ground up.  The design incorporated corporate standard lighting and controls packages to maximize energy efficiency and comfort.  The MEP design included specification of the new kitchen exhaust and make up air equipment.
